Featured Replies

Hi guys been away for awhile using rc4 loaded up the 737ngx and noticed the engine sound comes and goes. Pressing q brings it back all the time. If i dont use rc the engine sound is normal. Havnt tied it yet on other aircaft as of yet will do and post back the results to rule out the ngx

Pete... yeah I had it... with RC4, squawkbox and even the internal atc, and not just on the NGX... its nothing to do with FSX or RC4... go to Control panel, sound... click the "communications" tab, and set"When windows detects communications activity...." to "do Nothing"You'll probably find when you first open the sound tools up that its set to "reduce other sounds..." or even "mute all sounds".And the cause... for me anyway... was SKYPE. Skype changes this setting to suit its own purpose, regardless of other software, and will not ask permission to do it or advise that it has.Hope that helps.
