I just bought a new 27-inch iMac (I need the Mac, so please no comments on how stupid I am for running FSX on a Mac), and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or words of wisdom on the best use of the screen. Specifically, has anyone toyed with the choices, and what seems to work the best? I appreciate all input and comments -- one of the best things II've found about the flight sim community is the willingness to share experiences. BTW, I have the i7 processor w/8GB RAM and the video card w/2GB.Alan

Hi Alan, I have the exact same machine (except I only got 1gb of ram for the gfx card) and I run fsx in native resolution. I did try other resolutions briefly but got no performance imProvements so I went back to native right away. Run your fsx.cfg through Bojote's great tuning engine and you are set. Cheers,Alex
