Correct Settings for FPS Limiter in FSX?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the correct settings to put in the configuration window for FSX in FPS Limiter? It opens with D3D9 in the window, is this correct? The other options are OGL and D3D8. I know how to search executable I think, which I assume is FSX.exe? I think the best FPS setting is probably 30, but I have no idea what logging and OSD are for. Is the last step Create bat? Thanks for the help. Without instructions it seems to be all trial and error. Tom

Flaps30D3D9 is the settiong for FSX.I usually use 30 fps as the frame rate.Path: for your fsx.exe fileIn the bat file that you create (which is needed to run FPS_Limiter and open FSX - you will see the followingR:D3D: just tells the app that you are using directxf: 30 fps you want to set,x: if you want to hide using the F12 key - I leave it off.l: is logging you use that if you have an issueThe BAT file looks similar to this: start f:\"fsx\FPS LIMITER 2.0\"FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3D9 /f:30 /x:OFF /l:OFF "f:\fsx\fsx.exeNote: the .BAT file is the only way that you can start fps limiter and open FSX.RegardsPeterH
