ASE Folders for REX Themes

Featured Replies

Real quick..posted in ASE too but figured I'd get quicker response here. After creating a weather theme within REX2.0 OD, when I take a snapshot within ASE should ALL snapshots of REX textures go in the "Universal" folder? Or create my stormy skies and then put that into the "Stormy" folder, etc, etc? I think I read a post on here where somebody said all themes from REX should go into ASE's "Universal" folder.Anybody? Thank you (again)! I'll be waiting until I hear further.

Hi,The universal folder has no restrictions on its matching to wx conditions, and anything in universal can be 'recalled' in wx-influenced selections regardless of the conditions. The universal folder should be used for snapshots which could work in any weather condition. If you have something that only looks right in a given set of conditions, i.e. "stormy", then they should go in that folder, so that it will be likely chosen only when conditions are such.
