I have ASE and haven't quite figured how it all works. What are themes? Do I need to set them up? Basically all I've done is loaded ASE and run it straight the way it installed. Am I loosing out but not setting up themes? I was thinking about either purchasing X Graphics or REX to augment the textures. Do I need to make significant adjustments if I choose to add either of those programs. I feel like such an idiot when it comes to using ASE, especially when I see youtube videos or screen shots made by others. Is there anywhere that I can find documentation that will give a step by step explaination of how to use ASE, Themes and setting up addons to ASE. Any help someone can provide would greatly be appreciated.Happy HolidaysJim KiefferGreenville NC

Hi Jim,If you refer to Graphics Themes, this is a combination of specific graphics in different categories (i.e. clouds, water, sky color). ASE doesn't include graphics, so these would be as installed by your add-ons (i.e. XG, REX, FEX). How this relates to ASE is that you can take "snapshots" of your graphics themes, by installing them into FSX and taking the "snapshot". Then, snapshots can be recalled and installed into FSX manually our automatically by wx-influenced selection. But to answer your question, no, you don't need to do any kind of adjustments to ASE to get this to work.. you just take snapshots and then use them (i.e. automatically after entering a new flight plan, you can choose to automatically install the best matching snapshot). The ASE documentation should be read to gain an understanding of the features and options. The readme.rtf also has some valuable information. Other resources include our knowledgebase (support.hifitechinc.com).Other than that, please feel free to ask questions here, and if you have any direct support requirements, we can be reached at support.hifitechinc.com at any time.
