December 6, 201114 yr I have done everything I can think of and find on the forum here, I am still getting the fatal error message, I find the instructions supplied with this very ambiguous and most unhelpful as regards setting the thing up.First off I have windows 7 64 bit, I have no idea which installer to use (I tried both but the result was the same) as it says if you are installing to vista use this, but does not indicate if that is to differentiate vista from 7 or something else, it would be far better if it was more specific.I have successfully installed voxpop voices and run right through the speech to text setup doing all the training etcI have not registered the program as I am trying to see what it is like during the 7 day trial (an appropriate term if ever there was one) but no joy at all.I am using a Saitek X52 pro HOTAS (I read that someone had a problem with a thrustmaster throttle)For a program costing £45 I am pretty surprised that it has only an unofficial forum, though I do understand it from another viewpoint that the producers could be bogged down by the weight of questions etc, but some kind of troubleshooting FAQ would be handy.I double checked that a flight plan was loaded (the correct one for the first tutorial/test KMCI to Everly)I have been at this for 5 hours, worse than a full reinstall of FSX!I tried manually running the VOXatcserver.exe (As suggested in a different thread on a similar issue, no joy)Any assistance to get this working would be greatly appreciated.
December 7, 201114 yr What happens if you use only the default MS Ana voice? Also load FS, select the plane and airport, create a flightplan and then start the flight. See what happens then. Eric [FSX on Windows7 64-bit]
December 7, 201114 yr Author Hi Tallguy, Having read many posts on here about how the program deals with the AI traffic I have decided not to pursue the installation any further, I like my traffic as it is. Thanks for replying and beginning the process of assisting me, I appreciate it, but have decided that the program is not for me.
