Another small plane crashes into Miami building

Featured Replies

So far ABC News seems the only service carrying the story. Sounds like no one on the ground was hurt. Immediately one wonders whether it was an accident or something else. ABC said it's the federal reserve building, and it also houses the AP.I couldn't imagine a deliberate crash into the federal reserve building in the evening. I wonder what its proximity is to airports in the area? My office building is in the flight path for Deer Valley airport in Phoenix. Since I've worked there, we've had two crashes within 500 yards of the building....one of which I heard, and the other, into a mobile home.As I finish writing this, ABC is still the only site with news...

I just read a story about it. Seems it was an experimental plane with two people on board. They think it had an engine fire while flying at 5,500, but the pilot had not reported anything. Witnesses said they saw it wobble and it veered off to the left before striking the building. Appears to be an accident.KP

Actually I know that aircraft. My friend used to work for the company that built it. It is a prototype for that company. It's a home made design that was first flown only a few months ago. If you want more info check out fourwindsaircraft.com
