February 7, 200422 yr I have been using Squawk Box for years (current version 2.3) and am now using with FS9. Suddenly, for reasons that I cannot figure out, I am no longer able to visualize other users aircraft when connected. Needless to say, this makes taxiing a risky task and takes much of the fun out of the experience. I am looking for any help in correcting this problem. I am using SB Relay and have the latest version of FSUIPC (registered). It had been working fine. I have re-installed every component but still end up with the same problem - a lonely appearing airport despite other aircraft connected. Any help would be appreciated.
February 7, 200422 yr Hi, I have the same problem.... I never had it before..I guess the question is...what is the main problem that would cause this? a file in the wrong folder?? anyone, It must be something simple??Any help app!!MB
February 7, 200422 yr Got the same problem, plus others. I Think this program is too buggy. First it says it will stop because it can not find the icao.dat, nevertheless it stars. Then it says it can not find the icao.csl ( it is in the correct folder, and the csl in the aircraft folder) and because of that I will not be able to see other planes correctly. Same problem as you guys.Hope somebody gives us a hint.Edmundo Cardenas KPDK
February 8, 200422 yr This might help,1) The max view distance for multiplayer traffic in FS2004 is 10sm, this may be the problem.2) The installation of CSL libraries must be correct. I hope you are connecting to the multiplayer and looking for SB Relay?3) For other issues I would suggest a reinstall using the default directories.Check VATSIM for tutorials in setting up with FS2004.RegardsShez Shez Ansari Windows 11; CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K; GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti 11GB; MB: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5; RAM: 16GB; HD: Samsung 960 Pro 512GB SSD, Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD; Display: ASUS 4K 28", Asus UHD 26"
