No, it is not possible since the gauges are part OF the compiled model.

Well, in the most recent of planes with 3D gauges, this is indeed not possible, as Bill states. But if they just use 2D gauges displayed on the VC panel background, then you can indeed swap gauges around - just look in the panel.cfg file in the VCockpit sections. Some VC's use little "holes" for this, which means you can only swap gauges within those holes. Others use a larger panel polygon for the gauges, and these can be moved around, etc. as you like. You just have to save the original panel.cfg file and experiment on a copy. You won't know what kind of VC it is until you try it.Hope this helps,
