Tail Number and A/C Config

Featured Replies

Hello,I'm having a strange issue with the NGX, when selecting an aircraft to fly if you hit "details" it will show you the aircraft's tail number in an editable field. For some reason about 80% of them don't match up to the plane. For example, the standard Southwest -700WL (N940WN) shows up as JA07AN (which is correct for one of the ANA planes). The same tail number shows at the top of the FMS PMDG Setup > Aircraft page, and the aircraft options are not set correctly (this paint has the correct config included). I have tried removing and re-installing the liveries and running the livery manager as admin and am still getting this issue, with different aircraft each time. I am using the latest SP1B, although I did see this on a few aircraft before the SP. Any suggestions?

Steve,Delete all the NGX folders located here:C:Users(Your Windows Username)AppDataRoamingMicrosoftFSXSimObjects - that should correct this. Do NOT edit the tail numbers manually, these are required to be what they are in the aircraft.cfg so that the options inis and stuff work correctly.
