December 16, 201114 yr Hi guys,I´ve got a special task and I´m out of knwoledge now. My task is to speed up my sisters computer. It is my old one (The one before my current one) and I have it alot faster in memory than it is now. (Maybe I´m a bit too used to the speed of my own rig?!)It´s only used for surfing the net, writing some documents and a bit of gaming from my side (The good old C&C Generals Zero hour runs flaswessly and I´ve got no luck installing it on W7.)The system contents an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Dual core CPU, 4 GB 800 MHz Ram and an nVidia GTS 250 and on the HDD are only 40 of 313 GB used. Operating system is XP service pack 3.I know these spec´s are a bit "antique" but it used to perform FS9 very well in the days I used it. I´ve done an registry and temporary data clean as well as a defragmantation (It showed only 700MB fragmented.) but it hasn´t helped much.Do you have any other ideas?
