Advanced interpolation, wanna get rid of it!

Featured Replies

Hi all,In my ASE, usually my METARs are changed by ASE with the RMK ADVANCED INTERPOLATION, and it sucks as I get very different weather then the real one (frustrating on VATSIM)Is there any way to shut it off?Kind regards

Hi,No, interpolation is an integral part of the weather system. As to why it "sucks" for you, could you provide specific details or examples? Also, there is an ASE beta update with specific interpolation improvements available from our support center (http://support.hifitechinc.com) that you might benefit from. AS2012 also further extends interpolation improvements.

Hi Damian, for example whenever I have a RW METAR of visibility 200 metres, it often gives an interpolation of more than 3km, which in my opinion makes it useless, this is not rendereing the real world weather, is it?

I would need to see the specific METAR and interpolation details, perhaps a screenshot?

I'll make one whenever I see it happening again.
