lost my landing lights !

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,I don't know what I've done, but I realized that know in all my 2dpanels I'm unable to see my landing lights !I see them in virtual cokpits or external view, but no more in 2d panels! Can someone could help me with that problem ?I don't know if someone else has that problem and if it is an add-on who has removed my landing light view, but it's very hard now to taxi at night Thanks in advance,Christophe.

I had the very same problem sometime ago, and the only thing that fixed it for me was deleting the Fs2002.CFG file ( Yes it was for FS2002; I do not know if it works with FS2004, cos I do not have it) and starting the sim. It will then build a new one from scratch. The problem with this is that any customization you have made will be lost. (Joystick assignments and so on)But I found that it was worth the trouble to get the light back on.Good Luck

if you rename rather than delete the .cfg file, and let FS2004 create a new one, you can then hand-copy your joystick section(s) from the old .cfg to the new one. It can save a lot of time, depending on how many axis/button assignments you have.Dave Blevins

System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler

NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case

System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com

Thank you very much for your answers, it's a good thing to know that we can delete the FS2004.cfg with possibility of copying ans pasting our joystick setting saving a lot of time with the buttons assignments !Now I have my landing lights working ! Thank's a lotChristophe.
