December 21, 201114 yr Hello guys,With this new AVSIM web page, it doesn't remember automatically the username and password so I am forced to look for them every time and paste them. I liked in the old days when it was done automatically after the first time. I am the sole user of this PC and the tick is checked on "Remember me" but to no avail.Help please,MAB
December 21, 201114 yr Normally code on a forum's log-in page uses a browser cookie to remember your choice of remembering your user name or even leaving you logged in between visits (may expire if you don't visit for several days). Sometimes a setting in the browser or a browser add on erases cookies when the browser is shut down. Some settings or add ons might have an option to have different settings for different sites. If you don't take advantage of a "remain logged in" option remembering your password is normally a convenience function of the web browser on your computer (phone tablet etc). Most browsers I use offer an option to remember the password the first time I log into a site (for forums or other purposes). If I decline that option at that time they usually don't ask again. Any option to change or record a password on a subsequent log-in might vary depending on which browser and version you are using. Including browser information in further post may permit others using the same browser and version to offer more detailed help.

December 22, 201114 yr Author Nothing to do with the browsers which are doing their job but the problem is the AVSIM sign-in is opening a second windows which freezes temporarily the original front page in the background. The first time I saw this new type of behavioral sign-in was in ImageShark that has the same style.
