ASE-Sound lost to USB connected speakers in FSX

Featured Replies

ASE causes me to lose sound to my USB connected speakers when I run FSX. I can still get sound through my headphones that connect directly to the motherboard. Any ideas?Intel 980X; 12 gigs ram; EVGA M/B; EVGA 480 (x2) Video Cards.Whoops...forgot to check "Follow this topic" :(

Hi,That's strange that ASE could affect your sound like this. We use only standard .NET 2.0 routines to play .wav files through the primary/default sound playback device. Can you confirm your default device is your USB speaker set? And does this "problem" occur when ASE is not running? Please open a ticket (http://support.hifitechinc.com) and we can look at this in detail for you...
