December 30, 201114 yr Hi,I nearly always prefer to fly day flights since I dislike night textures of FSX overall. So after sunset I often do "historical" flights. For example if I it is 20:00, I adjust the time as 08:00 A.M. and fly.The thing is; when I start AS2012 (or ASE previously), I have to wait till it downloads current weather data to access the program menus (they are grayed out until it is loaded). Not that it takes too long but still it takes some time and I prefer not to experience that idle time. :)So my suggestion is; would it be possible/feasible to include some pop-up dialog box at start-up which asks if I would like to download the current weather data or not, so that I can choose to pass on it and go directly to "historical" menu. Not very important, I know. Just a suggestion.Cheers. :)Doruk
December 30, 201114 yr Hi Doruk, just disable the option 'Automatic Downlads' on the Wx Options page. Your weather will downloaded at the defined download intervall anyway. This has worked for me with ASE and AS2012.RegardsWolfgang Wolfgang Schroeder
