  1. I've the same problem, disappeering and reappering of my own aircraft but seeing the others. I'm also using the button control version. What I've found out is, if I click on my plane the heading reads always 0 in the popup regardless of the real heading. Wolfgang Schroeder
  2. Hi Stephen, you point me to the right direction. It was my fault :( . Because I'm flying in the past the actual airac cycle doesn't match with day/time I'm flying. Oh these PMDG's are so realistic!!
  3. Maybe I've not found the right context for the search but all I've found about this topic is thata: a turn of the year happens in the airac cycleb: the airac cycle is out of dateBut none of the two points apply here. Anyone knows the mentioned topic of the wrong date in the cfg file?Wolfgang
  4. Hi,after installing airac 1202 I get the above FMS message:I've also checked the fmc_ident.txt file which seems to be correct:[ident]NavData=AIRAC-1202OpProgram=FEB09MAR07/12CoData=EAG-1202Any hints to solve this issue?RegardsWolfgang
  5. I think I’ve found the reason for the behavior. It’s the decimal separator and the symbol for grouping numbers. If you have a german version of Windows the standard decimal separator is set to the dot and the symbol for grouping numbers is the comma. If for any reason the decimal separator is set to comma and grouping symbol to dot I assume that when loading a flight plan the coordinates of the waypoints are misinterpreted. The result is that all distances between the waypoints are wrong (and the calculation of the average wind component too).Maybe one solution can be that AS2012 should interpret the ‘global language setting’ instead of the actual setting of the decimal separator because when you create the flight plan that were the settings which were used. Just an idea.RegardsWolfgang
  6. Did some further tests and found when I import a flight plan and PFE is running the drawn route on the map is completely misaligned too (see picture). If PFE is not running the drawn route is correct.RegardsWolfgang
  7. For FSX ATC I use Pro Flight Emulator (PFE) which does some mystical things with the flight plan in AS2012. Without PFE the distances between the waypoints will be calculated correct. E.g the distance between KPHL and DQO will be 22nm. But if PFE is running the distance between these two points will be 1546 nm which is totally wrong. The side effect is that the calculation of the average wind componente is also wrong too.Any idea what can generate this discrepancy? BTW PFE uses FSUIPC instead of simconnect to communicate with FSX.RegardsWolfgang
  8. Hi Doruk, just disable the option 'Automatic Downlads' on the Wx Options page. Your weather will downloaded at the defined download intervall anyway. This has worked for me with ASE and AS2012.RegardsWolfgang
  9. Hi,when I download historical weather with the checked option 'Local', the local time is interpreted as the local PC time. Is this correct? If it is, it would be nice to have an option to interpret 'Local' as the local time of the departure airport if a flight plan was previously loaded, or the station selected in the report screen if no flight plan is loaded Just another christmas wish.RegardsWolfgang
  10. Hi Damian,it was just an obeservation. The reason why I looked at the log-file was that I want to find the right time to load the flight plan and install the wx-influenced textures. Because these textures are weather-dependent they will not match with the weather condition if I load the flight plan and install the textures to early.RegardsWolfgang
  11. When downloading historical weather the weather will always downloaded twice (see log):11:54:57:0944 - **** AS2012 Initial Weather Synthesis Complete! ****11:56:49:0765 - Downloading global weather data for 03.12.2011 16:10:49 (16Z) from Secondary Server...11:56:50:0701 - Refreshing Weather....11:56:50:0982 - Generated Machine Code .....11:56:55:0288 - Start Download Content License Result Check11:56:55:0288 - Finished Download Content License Result Check in 0 ms11:56:55:0288 - Start Download File Output11:56:55:0288 - Saving weather to disk11:56:55:0303 - Finished Download File Output in 15,6001 ms11:56:55:0303 - Start Decrypt/Decompress11:57:26:0441 - Finished Decrypt/Decompress in 31137,6546 ms11:57:26:0441 - Download Binary Compress File Routine completed in 35458,8622 ms11:57:26:0441 - Populating weather stream with new data...11:57:26:0441 - Parsing line items11:58:01:0728 - Input parse problem: 5S00: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0744 - Input parse problem: 5S01: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0744 - Input parse problem: 5S02: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0760 - Input parse problem: 5S03: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0760 - Input parse problem: 5S04: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0775 - Input parse problem: 5S05: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0775 - Input parse problem: 5S06: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0791 - Input parse problem: 5S07: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0791 - Input parse problem: 5S08: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0806 - Input parse problem: 5S09: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0806 - Input parse problem: 5S10: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0822 - Input parse problem: 5S11: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0822 - Input parse problem: 5S12: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0838 - Input parse problem: 5S13: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:58:01:0838 - Input parse problem: 5S14: Die Länge darf nicht kleiner als 0 (null) sein.Parametername: length11:59:03:0333 - 8395 stations were scanned (413 did not provide recent data)11:59:03:0333 - Download complete11:59:03:0473 - Sent FS Message: AS2012 new weather download completed...11:59:04:0955 - Downloading global weather data for 03.12.2011 16:13:04 (16Z) from Primary Server...11:59:06:0141 - Generated Machine Code .....11:59:10:0166 - Start Download Content License Result Check11:59:10:0166 - Finished Download Content License Result Check in 0 msThis behaviour seems to be independ of the day/time of the historical weather but may be relatated to the following problem.I always get the above input parse problem: "Length must not be lesser than 0 (null)". Don't know if this is an issue with anyweather station (the numbers are always the same) or AS2012 issue.RegardsWolfgang
  12. Hi Glen, maybe this will answer your question:http://forum.avsim.n...ncend-textures/RegardsWolfgang
  13. I've one more question: When I download historical weather with the option 'Local' checked, the local time is always interpreted as the PC local time. Is this by design? If it is, it would be nice to have an option to interpret 'Local' as the local time of the departure airport if a flight plan was previously loaded, or the station selected in the report screen if no flight plan is loaded RegardsWolfgang
  14. The point is, I only know the local time for departure and the local time depends on the departure airport. So before loading the historical weather the departure airport has to be defined. Sure I can manually convert the local time to Zulu but this requires to search the internet for the time offset. That's the reason why I think it would be nice to have the option to install the wx-influenced textures also from the historical screen.RegardsWolfgang
  15. I'm flying most ot the time with historical weather. Because my departure times are always given as local time I have to load the flight plan first, then download the historical weather and finally load the flight plan again to install the weather-influenced textures. It would be nice to have an option to install the weather-influenced textures after downloading historical weather so I do not have to load the flight plan twice. Or do I missed something?RegardsWolfgang
  16. When I want to fly 'in the past' and want to use the weather-influenced textures, what's the right startup order? Because the textures depend on actual weather (which depends on day and time) my guess is that I have to do it in the following order: Start AS2012 with option 'Force to Sim Time' checked Download the weather for that day and time Load the flight plan Let AS2012 install the weather-influcend textures Start FSX Is that order correct?RegardsWolfgang
  17. I've just installed AS2012 and have only one question before I will do most important thing: flying :-). Is it save to uninstall ASE to save disc space?RegardsWolfgang
  18. Maybe you're searching for something like that: http://library.avsim...927&CatID=fsxfp I've spend a lot of time at the design of the tour but now....after I bought the 737NGX it's time to fly! Wolfgang
  19. Thanks Jeffrey, entering IRC as the starting point works.Wolfgang
  20. Hi,I want to enter the following route into the FMS: SCIR SNO SCVM. The problem is that the departure airport doesn't exist in the database. So while sitting at SCIR I want to enter a DIRECT TO from present position (SCIR) to SNO. But I cannot find any instruction how to do that.Best regardsWolfgang
  21. Great! I've downloaded a historical weather and the automatic download is temporary enabled for the session so the weather is always in sync with my flight. Next time I started ASE the automatic download is disabled again, which saves my much time. Thanks for the hint!Wolfgang
  22. Hi,it would be nice to have an option to suppress the initial weather download. If you fly most of the time with historical weather it saves a lot of time at startup.Kind regardsWolfgang
  23. Hi,as said, try 'view all'. Since yesterday I've the same problem with any AVSIM forum. View all works for me.WolfgangPS: Hope you can read it ;-)

Hi,if you don't want to put the "long range star" into flight plan, maybe you can ask RC4 for a "Dev for Wx" (see manual page 151) after reaching the last waypoint to fly the star. And if you are within 70nm of the destination airport, it should be possible to ask for an iap approach. Haven't test it, but it should work.Wolfgang
  25. After 4 hours problem solved, at least for me. Updated to the new NVIDIA driver 175.16 and I can see the blue sky again!WolfgangPS: Are there any problems with some metars? Every time I want to download the metars for April 2, 2007, 22:00 GMZ, I need 6 attempts to get them.
