  1. I'm glad it is solved! :)Too bad I cannot try it myself until tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I won't have any problems though.Best regards & iyi uçuşlar,Doruk
  2. Still the same deal for me with the interim update too. I see those rectangles in some of my flights (about 1/3 I think). I still use REX cirrus textures instead of AS2010 ones as a workaround.By the way; all three people who seem to be carrying on this topic are all Turkish. That is of course very irrelevant, but just had to point that out since I find it quite interesting. :)RegardsDoruk
  3. I saw this being discussed many times in many platforms. I'm afraid there's no solution to that as far as I know, and I totally agree that it is very annoying. The problem with that, is the way FSX simulates precipitation. Rather than simulating it as "pouring down from the clouds", it creates a bubble around the aircraft with precipitation in it. Which is of course quite unrealistic. Some kind of "precipitation suppression" may be possible, similar to FSUIPC gust, turbulence and variance suppression, like "suppress rain above cloud ceiling level". I am not sure if it is possible with the tools MS provides to 3rd party developers though. It would still be unrealistic in some cases, since precipitation is not always originated from the highest level of clouds, but still it would be better than originating from clear blue skies. :)RegardsDoruk
  4. Hi,I nearly always prefer to fly day flights since I dislike night textures of FSX overall. So after sunset I often do "historical" flights. For example if I it is 20:00, I adjust the time as 08:00 A.M. and fly.The thing is; when I start AS2012 (or ASE previously), I have to wait till it downloads current weather data to access the program menus (they are grayed out until it is loaded). Not that it takes too long but still it takes some time and I prefer not to experience that idle time. :)So my suggestion is; would it be possible/feasible to include some pop-up dialog box at start-up which asks if I would like to download the current weather data or not, so that I can choose to pass on it and go directly to "historical" menu. Not very important, I know. Just a suggestion.Cheers. :)Doruk
  5. Used it just a few times and it is awesome indeed. Great, I mean GREAT work. But the airline I prefer to fly with does not have it installed so I do not use it anymore for the sake of realism. :)Doruk
  6. I think I'm going to re-install FSX too, but I really don't want to. I hope we can solve this, so I don't have to.It takes too long to install all the addons and do all the tweaks etc. I hate re-installing FSX. :(
  7. After several flights, the grayish/blackish sheet is back. Attaching the screenshot.
  8. My problem is fixed, at least I didn't see it happen in three short flights. Thanks a lot for your support Chris.
  9. Oh, I meant cirrus, sorry. OK, sending my email. Can't try it now though, since I'm at work. I'll let you know the result in a few hours.Thank you. :)Doruk
  10. Same here. Got rid of shader3, but I still have the problem. I think I might have found a workaround though. It looks to me that, this problem occurs with cumulus cloud textures only. I use REX cumulus textures now, and AS2012 for everything else. No problems so far.Edit: No memory issues here as well.
  11. I do. And after I started this thread I also thought it was the first suspect too. Did two more short hops without uninstalling it and didn't see that anomaly again though.Anyway, i'll do more test flights with and without shader mod 3.0 and let you know the results.
  12. Hello,First of all, thank you for this wonderful product. I have made a few short hops to test it out and everything looks really smooth. I noted just one minor issue though. I sometimes see "strange" textures on the sky which weren't there with ASE+REX combo. Not that I am very uncomfortable with it, but still it would be better without those. :)I'm attaching a screenshot. I wonder if anyone has an opinion/workaround for this.Thank you,Doruk
  13. There is a 3000 ft filter on default settings. Are those planes around you less than 3000 ft above or below you?
  14. I am glad I could help. Both sides should be off by default if I recall correctly.
  15. Tried the Tfc button in the middle of the range knob?
