FSX Full Screen black after ALT+TAB solution

Featured Replies

Hello,Maybe I found a solution for the black screen after ALT+TAB.I usually had to go to window mode and back to full screen, but today by accident I did:Left click the FSX icon in the taskbar, release and click it again, now holding the LMB until the screen comes black, then release.Worked here (windows 7 - 64 bits, nvidia 270.61)I hope this helps,Ulisses

Be sure Preload is not disabled in fsx.cfg (DisablePreload=0). This can solve the problem for many.

Another one for Win7:Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, and then Esc on the blue Windows screen. All restored to normal on this side.

Yes, there are workarounds...What I found interesting is that I got the FSX back with only 2 mouse clicks (just holding the second click)Thanks,Ulisses

I have a button in my yoke mapped to ALT+ENTER. Tap it twice and FSX is back
