MCPII ADFs for PMDG 737NGX

Recommended Posts

1. Using MCP2 User Mode 1 Radios Presetspress ADF button --changes between ADF1 and ADF2 in the window. There is only one set of numbers in the window, not both "Active" and "Stanby" numbers. Using ADF1, the dial changes the numbers in the MCP2 window and in theaircraft "Active" radio panel. The dial changes the numbers in ADF2 but no changes are made in aircraft radio panel.Summary, ADFs does not have both active and standy windows. ADF1 changes the active numbers in the aircraft panel. ADF2 does not change any numbers in the aircraft panel.2. The STBY button changes from Marker On and Marker Off, and the Audio Toggle works correctly. With the toggle on, say using Com or Nav, the aircraft panel does not illuminate the "white" switch active. Is that correct? This is a new MCPII and I am still trying out the buttons.Popi

Hi Popi,

The dial changes the numbers in ADF2 but no changes are made in aircraft radio panel.
The NGX just has one ADF: ADF1What you see on the Radio panel is the standby frequency, which is the only one which could be changed and then set.But with LINDA we only dial the active frequency direct!
With the toggle on, say using Com or Nav, the aircraft panel does not illuminate the "white" switch active. Is that correct?
the whole Radio section is not modelled with LINDA, better said, the standard FSX functions work.I think, PMDG hasn't made there a too complicated system, so the most standard functions should work. Some things, as you encountered, do not work for 100%Would be maybe possible, but is way to much work for me on my end as these are very seldom used functions, sorry. So, if your question was, if your Combo works, then, yes, everything is alright. Not every of the 1000 functions of the NGX is implemented in LINDA :(

Good information. Buttons that does not duplicate the aircraft functions, is important, to better control the hardware. Thanks Guenter
