2002 Nvidia cfg trick in 2004?

Featured Replies

Hey gang, here's a puzzle of a question for you to firgure out:Do some of you remember back in FS2002 (so long ago LOL!) when we changed our display command line in the 2002 cfg to say something like "Display_Nvidia_something_something_on_WinXP"? Does anyone remember that command line?Is anyone using this in the 2004 cfg?Is anyone having any more success with frame rates and smoothness as a result?Vauge question I know, but someone surely can decifer what I'm saying.

Do a search. There is a very, very long thread on exactly that topic. I'm using that line in FS9 and I think it has had a positive effect. The thread I'm referring to is an interesting debate with some saying that it has no effect, and others confirming the effect.Edit: This is the thread. Have a good read....http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...36178&mode=full

>Edit:>>This is the thread. Have a good read....226 posts! Talk about a debate - I know what I'm doing this afternoon...Best,sg
