The older version of AS had options to suppress weather updates within so many miles of the destination and/or below such and such altitude. Does ASE have this feature or does it only use time? Do you then have to do a weather update many miles out so that you don't get studders on final? I was looking for this on the options page but could not see it.ThanksJimCYWG

Hello,Sort of.. the options are different. Suppression range and ceiling features are implemented for FS9 or FSX Standard/SCT depiction modes (does not apply to FSX/DWC mode). There are also force destination but this does not suppress based on distance... the suppression would be per your ceiling suppression, i.e. when you descend below it (during approach) your updates stop until you've landed.
