Hi all,Congratulations to AVSIM on another WINNING YEAR.Details here:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...forum=194&page=Hopefully Matt will validate soon, and it will become official.I enjoyed this race immensely.. :-) :-)From flying to Escorting and Belaying messages and helping with the threads.I even flew a couple legs with the FS boys on the Mike's Multi-Player server the other day. (Thanks Mike) Great Comeraderie across both forums by the members. The AVSIM team did a great job of Planning, Escorting, Flying, and posting results. My Congratulations to all flight teams, and we have the Bragging rights for another year...VIVA La AVSIM...Be sure to Congratulate your winning team.My Best Regards,JoeAVSIM RTW Race 20042 Legs Flown#1 February 15, 2004 From SBPB to SBNT in King Air 350#2 February 18, 2004 From KFSD to KSTL in Lancairhttp://aboutpolitics.net/images/bannerav.gif.About Politics.net - FORUMShttp://pub162.ezboard.com/baboutpolitics.Contribute to the Richard Harvey Scholarship Fund.http://www.avsim.com/pages/scholarship.shtml

Awesome! Great effort by all :D

Congratulations to all who took part in the Avsim effort. Yours was a splendid display of planning, routing, scheduling, flight execution, and teamwork. Your RTW flying serves as an example of how good it can be when it's done properly.I had the good fortune to witness Marc's arrival at CYQU after his long wildcard flight across the southern end of Alaska in the dark and lonely night. I parked on the tarmac, trying to stay out of the way, and watched what could only be described as a ballet. All those involved in the baton exchange working together to get the arrival safely secured, and the handoff and departure of the next pilot underway with a minimum of fuss and lost time. Truly superb stuff.Bravo to you all. Have a long, tall cool one... or two. You've certainly earned it.:-beerchug

Hi,Congrats guys! Perhaps I'll join in and do some flying in the race next year. Avsim pilots rock! x:-)Congratulations,Jim

Good grief That was quick no sooner had I heard about the RTW than it was over, I was planning to join in and do at least one leg. Next year I will just have to pay closer attention to the forum and make sure I take a week off work so that I can join in, with this obviously winning team.Congratulations to all that took part and lets hope we can do it again next year.Wycliffe

Goodness .. that was quick. :D. Well done all.

Well done lads!Gavin

Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

good job guys!!!!

Way to goi, AVSIM!! I read the threads for over two hours the other night and it really gets into your blood after awhile. Jeroen (fellow TCA'er) was a maniac! LOLBest, Rob

TomI have noticed over the months that your sig seems to be getting longer and longer. Whilst I can understand your love for a god that is about as real as Father Christmas, I really don't have to listen to your opinion.I also respect anybody's faith but don't really want it shoved down my throat in such a patronising manner.Wycliffe

Ok, this will stop right here. This thread is not going to turn into a religious debate. Please don't make me lock this thread.

KenI apologise unreserverdly.Wycliffe Barrett EGFF
