Feature Request - Rear Stairs

Featured Replies

Pretty pretty please PMDG....Could we have a simple model that delivers stairs to the rear door when opened, or otherwise selectable in the CDU menu? I see so many screenshots of a beautiful 737 parked at the gate with the jetway extended and a rear door open (because it's usually how that airline disembark at that airport for a quicker turn around) and no stairs there to greet the guests as they disembark.I imagine this would be a fairly simple task for someone with the know how.Kindest Regards,GregPS: Anyone who would also like to see this, post here. :)

If you buy Aerosoft's Airport Enhancement Services, you can have these features. I don't think you can have them on the default airports, but 3rd party shouldn't be a problem in general. Not free, I know, but more than worth the cost (so is 3rd party scenery in my view).Or you could wait for GSX by FSDreamTeam, which will be available for all airports, both 3rd party and FSX default. The release date is still unknown, but it shouldn't take too long, judging by replies on their forums.

Been answered in the past - we're at or very close to the animation limit for the sim. Rear stairs is a lot of overhead and we're not looking to add more to the model. This would be a very large file size update to do this too - the models are the biggest part of the NGX.
