Memory for new system

Featured Replies

Hi all,I'm buiding a new system with an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe MB, and I was thinking of using Corsair Twinx 1024-LLPro ram memory. My question is if anyone is using this memory with this MB and how it's performing.I'm open to suggestions on any memory that will perform well using this MB.Thanks Arnold

FS2004 is a game that really depends on your mobo. The more ram and the better the CPU, the better FS2004 will preform. 1gb of ram or more is great especially if running Windows XP along with complex virus and firewalls running constantly in the background.

I use corsair ram and have had no problems. The one thing you must know with Corsair ram is that it is designed to run at certain BIOS settings and you need to know that the BIOS on you new motherboard is going to allow the settings needed in order for the ram to operate right. If you are getting a ASUS this should not even be a problem . Corsair also has a great forum and the CS is top notch. Before you purchase the ram I would go the corsair site and see what ram is recommened for you motherboard. I got the CMX 512 pt because that was one of the sticks of ram recommned to work well with the Nforce 2 chip set. Here is the link and if you motherboard is not listed just get on the ramguy forum and ask. The usually respond with in the hour if it is still in normal buisness hours. http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/memory_guides.html click on the asus.pdf . It says for your board to get 1 twinx1024-3700 :)good luck
