Hi i just wanted to know if this was normal. When i land on the runway the brakes are engaged automatically and show in the left hand corner. I am using CH pedals and have to step on them twice to get them to release. Is this the autobrake kicking or a bug.Kind Regards Chris.

It is the result of current hardware limitations.......just try and press the brakes key (.) and all will be well. A lot of the consumer grade hardware is prone to issue. You can try careful calibration (take your time) and setting up larger null-zones if you insist on using the pedals to disengage AB. Applying a small amount of thrust after reducing to your desired speed will accomplish the same thing.

Before the latest service pack - or even the one previously (can't recall) - mine behaved like that.They work perfectly now (SP 1b)ThanksCarl Beeby
