Saitek x52 pro when using FS9

Featured Replies

Hi EveryoneWhen playing Airliner pilot using FS9 i'm having a problem with my throttle control on my x52 pro, whats happening is as soon as i touch the throttle lever its going to full throttle and it only returns to half way not fully back to idle. It worked fine until i had to have my computor repaired, the joy stick works perfectly except for the throttle control, i have tried every setting in the FS9 menu but still have the problem. If anybody can point me in the right direction to resolve my problem that would be brilliant, hope i've explained it right and it makes sense. Many thanks in advance

Hi,Think I would start by un-installing the sticks drivers, using something like CCcleaner to check the pc registry and re-load them as per the instruction manual.Steve.

Thanks SteveI've downloaded the latest Drivers and software and reinstalled them but still the same, funny thing is every thing else works perfectly on the joystick except the throttle controls.I have found a phone number for saitek tech services going to give them a ring and see what happens. Thanks

I've just checked out my x52 (not pro) settings which work fine for me, you can give this a try -Start FS9, with x52 connected , goto Settings Assignments - Saitek x52 - scroll down to Throttle Axis - highlight and Delete Assignment - making sure Throttle is fully retarded click on Change and push Throttle fully forward , press OK.Now goto Sensitivities - highlight Advance button and adjust Throttle sliders - Sensitivity fully right Null fully left. Also check the controller calibration page to make sure everything is working. These are my settings, make sure you write down your original settings before altering, then you can always go back.My Aileron and Elevator settings are both at 50% with Null at about 30%. No doubt other simmers settings will vary from this but anything is worth a try.Cheers Echofox
