Simple B777 question

Featured Replies

On the NGX we have it good with regard to entering weights in the FMC. Just click on the empty value for ZFW and the correct number appears and we enter it. Just wondering if this same function will be incorporated into the B777 FMC?

I hope so. :(

I can't see why they wouldn't :)

Would be nice to know for sure instead of speculating.

why not work out your payload and empty weight as in the real world? :)

In my view of things, if they have that system in the NGX, why wouldn't they incorporate it to the 777? Captain Randazzo said the NGX would be the "base" for all new aircraft it made after NGX.So I really believe this reasoning is not just mere speculation.Happy flying!

Yeah I imagine so. That was one of my favourite features of the B747. If not it's a simple thing to go to the fuel and payload page and get it from there!
