  1. Thanks for all the help, I will probably go with the Haswell once I save the cash. I just had one more question regarding hard drives; is it ok to have a regular hard drive for Windows and then a SSD for FSX? And how much should the SSD be, 128, 512 etc. Edit: Is 240GB enough for a FSX- only drive?
  2. Hey all, So after many years of having a much outdated computer, I've been looking into buying parts for a new computer, and having my friend who is an IT guy build it for me. I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were regarding weather to buy a Haswell or an Ivy Bridge processor... I'm not really sure if the extra money is worth it. In addition, I was wondering if overclocking is absolutely necessary to run FSX smoothly with addons such as PMDG, AS 2012, GEX and so on. Thank you.
  3. Thank you both for the help!
  4. Hi Joao, Make sure you have installed both of the FSX service packs. In addition, are you using a seperate controller? If so, I had a problem where if one of the dials wasn't turned all the way off it would cause a FSX "Fatal Error". Hope this helps!
  5. Hello all, I was just unsure about which buttons I need to press inside the aircraft to be able to contact the ground and begin pushback. I enabled the service intercom and spoke "Cockpit to Ground" but I still received no response. Thank you for any help!
  6. Thankfully, I haven't had a go-around in the NGX. However while flying the default CRJ-700 into KPHX I was unable to intercept the glideslope, and went around. Since I was using the default, I followed the default ATC's instructions. This of course was before I discovered payware aircraft, and I went broke forever.
  7. My uncle flys MD-11s for Fed-Ex RW. I love hearing his stories about different flights.
  8. But what if the 777 is like the NGX where you cant save....
  9. Incredible video!

  11. As i said before, I'm thinking airbus. When you get down to it, couldn't you see a PMDG A340? That would definitely surprise me!
  12. When he said surprise, all I thought was airbus im not gonna lie....

  20. Sorry, I wasnt clear, I meant can you actuatly say the PA announcments into your mic and have them be on the PA? For example, is there a way for you to be able to say cabin crew arm slides and have the cabin crew do that?
  21. Is there a way you are able to make PA announcments? Because if there is, I havent found it yet, and if there isnt, please include it in the service pack! :(
  22. Thank you, will do!
