March 20, 201214 yr Good day,I use the superb FS2crew pack for the NGX but i've just seen a video of the 767 product and i felt confused... especially when i see that in the FS2Crew 767 we could do things like "Are you ready for the departure briefing" tell anything and finish by "any question". ( I tried that but seems to don't work in the NGX)It is disappointing not to be able to do that with a newer product instead of pushing a briefing button. It's the same for cabin announcement (Welcome, Delay, Return to gate, cruise, etc,etc..).Are there any plan to improve those systems like start with "Ladies and gentlemen" and finish by "I wish you a good flight" ?FS2Crew NGX is really a Must Have for all NGX users and for sure i'm not complaining but just asking and looking forward the perfect product FS2Crew almost is.Cheers,Théo GATE 51 or ManFlex55

March 21, 201214 yr Have you tried the PA botton it open the passenger announcement. :)Sorry, I wasnt clear, I meant can you actuatly say the PA announcments into your mic and have them be on the PA? For example, is there a way for you to be able to say cabin crew arm slides and have the cabin crew do that? FSXDante Nicotera Delta Virtual Airlines: First Officer 737-800 Program
March 21, 201214 yr Commercial Member Cabin crew arm slides is already in there.Of course, the NGX doesn't have any slides to arm.In SP1, you need to make a PA "Cabin Crew Doors May be Opened" at gate arrival. That will trigger the doors to open. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 21, 201214 yr The emergency escape slides must be "armed" in order to deploy. In their disarmed state, they won't be able to deploy when needed. This is a safety feature as a deploying slide could seriously injure ground crew, not to mention an accidental deployment of a slide costs about $10k to repack.-stefanThe emergency escape slides must be "armed" in order to deploy. March 22, 201214 yr Strict Standards: Declaration of group_forum_breadcrumb::sendOutput() should be compatible with that of output::sendOutput() in /opt/webdocs/newsite/forum/hooks/group_forum_breadcrumb_d29bf565a59f776807044fd19e49258a.php on line 107 What does "Cabin crew arm slides" actually mean?Evacuation slides are installed in each entry door. The slide girt bar is normally stowed in the stowage hooks located near the bottom of the door liner. Before taxi, the girt bar is removed from the hooks and fastened to the brackets located on the floor of the airplane. The girt bar should remain fastened to the brackets for the duration of the flight and not be removed until the airplane has come to a complete stop. When the girt bar is in the floor brackets, and the door is opened, tension on the girt bar causes the compartment latch to separate, allowing the compartment to open and the slide to deploy. Evacuation slides are also installed at the mid exit doors. These slides are always armed and will deploy automatically when the doors are opened. The mid exit door slides are swept aft at an angle of 20 degrees and each has an inflatable rail tube at the top on the forward side. Inflation of an evacuation slide takes approximately five seconds. If a slide fails to inflate automatically, a manual inflation handle can be pulled to inflate the slide. If the slide still fails to inflate, it is not usable. If an inflated slide deflates, it may be used as an apron slide. Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21
