January 24, 201214 yr Hi all,I have recently re-installed FSX after upgrading my operating system to Windows7, 64bit. I had to re-intall FSX a couple of time as I forgot to install the service packs correctly. But now I have installed FSX correctly everything seemed fine until the other night! After installing all my aircraft back into FSX and taking each one for a short flight, I deleted all the entries which weren't complete flight's, as I only want to log complete flights and not "check hop's". Problem is now the logbook isn't showing any flights at all, and doesn't update new flight's in fsx. Interestingly the logbook in "Documents\Flight Simulator X\ Logbook" does seem to be updating, so why doesn't this version show up in fsx?If anyone can tell me if it's possible to get the log book to show in fsx then I'd be greatfull. Thanks,Dave Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
January 24, 201214 yr Commercial Member Check this logbook editor out in the file library. Use the search function.logbookedit-0411062225.zipEdit your logbook with this program instead of thru FSX. Sometimes the logbook goes haywire editing it with FSX itself. If it is corrupted use this program.fsxlogrecovery11.zipIf that cant fix it send it to me and I will try to recover it by hand. January 24, 201214 yr Author Hi Daveo,Thanks for the advice I downloaded the logrecovery tool and reading the "readme" file I noticed that one corrupt entry might stop the logbook updating in the sim. Well having only re-installed FSX the other day I deleted all entries maybe 5 or 6 and then took a short flight......... After this flight I had a new log entry showing in the logbook in fsx so all seems cured! Thanks for your advice, worked a treat!RegardsDave Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
