January 24, 201214 yr I'm being thick here, as is my prerogative. I have a couple of lovely payware airports (YBAS ORBX and Flightbeam KSFO). January 31, 201214 yr Author *BUMP*Anyone?Surely someone has a fix for this? Isn't it a discrepancy between where FSX thinks a gate should be and where it actually IS? (as placed by ORBX etc) If so, is there an editor/file I can alter to fix this? January 31, 201214 yr I've got Flightbeam's KSFO and I've not had this issue, but you may the solution in your own hands as you have more or less suspected a dodgy AFCAD *.bgl file. Someone might be able to guide you precisely on this, or alternatively,as I have done before, run Airport Editor.If it finds a duplicate *.bgl file, it'll show up.Hope this helps. Rick Almeida
January 31, 201214 yr Author That's great, Rick thanks. It was actually at YBAS and YSSY, not KSFO..I think it may have happened at YBBN too, although that's a freeware from OzzieX. I've not tried it with the default FSX scenery yet as I'm sure it will work (otherwise everyone would be having this issue)There seems to be a couple of editors, though..Airport design editor and Airport Facilitator. Is it one of these? Sorry, I'm a bit new to actually editing scenery in FSX. January 31, 201214 yr Hi Jake.Yes, it's Airport Design Editor. The name escaped me previous post. I have most of the ORBX Aussie sceneries but not the two you mention. I'm not an expert on this AFCAD business as I too have a scenery---LGMT--- where is another layer of scenery laying beneath the 'modified' scenery, but I'd read somewhere that ADE will locate duplicate bgl files. Delete one or the other and then check if your a/c is still being parked in a hangar rather than at a gate. Best I can do, Jake. Sorry. Rick Almeida
