C150 ADF

Featured Replies

Hi,I'm a relative beginner so excuse any mistakes.I'm used to seeing a little mark or indicator at the top of an ADF gauge to which I can line up my heading. The 152 ADF gauge seems to have several white arrows at the base and side but not at the top? So I'm now establishing the opposite of my heading and matching that to the bottom arrow. That's OK but seems a little odd.Is this correct? Many ThanksChris

Hi,I don't have this acf but based on what I've seen on carenado's website, it seems that the ADF has been modeled without the white ref mark at the to^p. I've never seen an ADF indicator without the white mark at the top to indicate the reference position, even in the real world. But if you have other carenado aircrafts, you may use the ADF of another plane and replace the C152 one.I don't have this issue as I'm using (and I highly recommand) the Reality XP flight line T and N that provides very high definitiion and smouthly animated instruments such ADF indicators...Cheers,Stéphane

Open the panel folder of the canrenado 152inside find a file called. panel.cfgMake a backup of this file so that you have a file to restire from incase you make a messNow open the panel.cfg file with notepad.Scroll right down to the [Vcockpit01] sectionand change gauge08 so that it look like the section below that I added.(you added a new line that will read the default Cessna 172 ADF gauge. and you commented out the Carenado entry by adding the // infront of the gauge entry meaning that gauge will not work there but you still have it on your panel.cfg file if you want to go back to the old entry. - See two red lines that indicate the change)//--------------------------------------------------------[Vcockpit01]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=512,512visible=0pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$Panel_152_1gauge00=C152!Attitude, 171,4,166,171gauge01=Cessna182Q0!Gyro, 159,169,176,180gauge02=C152!Airspeed, 0,2,169,167gauge03=C152!Altimeter, 342,8,168,170gauge04=C152!Vertical Speed, 337,179,163,164gauge05=C152!Turn Coordinator3, 2,174,162,162gauge06=C152!RPM Indicator, 4,339,167,168gauge07=C152!vor1, 177,339,168,172gauge08=Cessna!ADF, 347,340,150,168//gauge08=C152!rmi, 348,346,147,163SAVE the fileRestart FSXenjoy
