January 24, 201214 yr Hi, found quite a nice ''first look'' video on youtube, thought some of you who are still deciding whether to buy this product would be interested. It's almost like a brief review but at the end he says he could make other videos if people wanted. Matthew Schofield
January 24, 201214 yr Nice find:) I will try and do a video; my first, but hell I seriously have not put FSX down since I have got the pa46t, so I would enjoy to do! So happy at this type flying; last time I did GA's was 1985; so this is a nice change from all of the heavy iron that I have been and only been flying in FSX since I got it 3 years ago. Dynamics are great, appearance great, sounds great!!! Seating position is low in the VC, raise it some and you will be happy::) Carenado have done a GREAT, GREAT job with this one!!!! :( Edited January 25, 201214 yr by simon747 Simon
January 25, 201214 yr Interesting video as this guy mentions how important the FDEs, nevertheless he simply applies full throttle on take off, there by severely over torquing and overtemping the engine. He also mentions how slow and hence 'realistic' the engine reacts, failing to note that the PT6 on the Malibu accelerates rather quickly from idle to max, using only half the time than the PT6 on the default Caravan.I don't understand the critique concerning the sounds either as this is one of the very few add ons where you can hear the correct sound pitch change with prop pitch/RPM change and not only power changes. But overall it's a very nicely done video.
