January 28, 201214 yr Author "Wingbox Distortion" can be caused by multiple factors, including but not limited to:- Magnetic Variation- Altitude- Lens type, make, model, focus length- Photographer skills with camera and Photoshop- Angle of incidence between photographer and wingbox- Computer specs such as platform, operating system, graphics hardware and settings, monitor size flex model make- Wing load- Engine thrustIf these factors are correct, then it would be nice to know how each factor leads to the distortion.Other factors too technical to discuss on a basic aeronautical forum such as this.I don't understand why things need to be classified as being "too technical." There are many inquisitive minds out there. Being a "basic" aeronautical forum does not mean that its users aspire to having "basic" aeronautical knowledge.
