Trying to install SDK from the #1 DVD of the FSX deluxe package. There is no trouble accessing the DVD's folders via Win ExplorerHowever when I execute the SDK's Setup file, the DVD drive begin a seemingly endless (2 min+) chattering. Presumeably this isbecause in is accessing or trying to access the DVD's data. Because I was concerned for the welfare of my DVD drives I aborted theinstallation. I have two store bought FSX Deluxe DVD sets and two DVD drives in my PC and I've tried different combinations andget the same DVD Drive continuous chatter. Is this lengthy DVD chatter normal during start of the SDK installation?Many thanks,Ken

Not if your selecting the correct install/setup file. I dont remember off the top of my head but it seems it was tricky determining the correct install file. There is like an MSI file and another folder containing the install?
