how to open doors

Featured Replies

Hi all,I do not manage to open the doors, although I go to the menu bar, PMDG options within FSX and key assignments options.May the engines run or does it only work when the engines are off?Does the parking break maybe need to be set?Are APU GEN available, even if the engines do not run? What do I need to do to have APU GEN available if the engines are off?Does FSX need to be restart after key assignments?Or what do I do wrong?

Check the 747-400F Differences Manual under Ground Operations (10th page in the PDF file).

Basically, the ground bus has to have power.

Hi TC, thanks for the reply but in my copy of the Differences Manual Page10 is "intentionally left blank".  I didn't see any mention of ground operations.  Obviously need more help.

It looked like the ground bus was on but maybe I didn't see the right thing.

Looking forward to a reply

Page 10 in the PDF file, not the manual.  Go up one (I think) page. You may wish to start up two or three pages.  It's only 10 pages long anyway. Not a lot to read.  You're answer is there, only a page or two away!
