fsx.cfg question

Featured Replies

hi guysNoticed that after adding some photoscenery, the following change had been made to my config file...From: TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40To: TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=400What are your thoughts? Can't say I see much difference either way, but don't remember what this does.Ta!

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

In FS9 it helped reduce blurry textures. That is way too high for FSX, I have read 8O to 100 should be the max value.

Google search on this and here on the AVSIM forums you'll find plenty of discussion on it. Different people on different systems have found different settings to work best for them, as with some other fsx.cfg properties
