February 6, 201214 yr System:ASUS 1PISB with i5-2320 and H67/C200 chipsetVCGGTX560XPB-GeForce GTX560 1024MBIntel 320 Series 120 GB SATA 3.0 - WIN7, FSX, PMDG1TB HD SATA 6.0 HD for all other applications and file8GB factory RAMI bought the gpu and ssd at the same time and dead a complete reformat to the SSD as the primary boot and WIN7 base. After configuring all the little extras (media files, internet, downloads, etc) in windows to run off the HD I installed FSX and PMDG onto the SSD. Ever since I have had issues with graphics failing to BLACK after I return from FSX menu screens such as the exit simulation menu, or flight planning menu. I'll hear sound just fine, and all indications point to the sim is working. I'll exit the sim and notice, then, that in the base startup FSX interface menu, where the graphic of the selected aircraft rotates in display, there is only black. This has been extremely frustrating as I'll navigate to a menu screen halfway through a long sim (or worse, when transition to approach!!!! >:-o ), the graphics fail. This only occurs with the NGX, as it is the only addon I currently have on FSX. It occurs with both the house and addon PMDG liveries. Any suggestions?ETA - PMDG purchased at the end of 2011 (12/30ish) Edited February 6, 201214 yr by tropopaused Brad G.

February 6, 201214 yr when this blackout happens did u try to switch fsx between full screen and windowed mode, had something like same and it's really helped. IGORS SKAPSTS...EGGW
February 6, 201214 yr Author Does not happen with FSX aircraft, not even hiccups between transition from non-flight screens back to flight.I do try to toggle to all the external views. Sometimes graphics come back, but it's usually a base layer sky or ground and nothing else, if that happens at all.If I switch from full screen to windowed and back, graphics have a difficult time recovering. February 6, 201214 yr Author Gunna troubleshoot with a) rolling back the nvidia driver to 280.62 and 275.33 (currently using 285.62).If that doesn't work will try the newer betas. I think it might be worth noting that whenever my desktop wakes up from sleep, the explorer bar is gone and all I see is the WINDOWS button and backgroud (all other thumbnails are visible on the desktop but no explorer bar shortcuts, time, sound icon, etc). For some reason I think these might be related and both having to do with the driver. Will let yall know in case anyone is experiencing similar issues. Brad G.
