Just recently I noticed whenever I select any of the 2D cockpit items whether it's the full forward instrument panel or just an individual panel like the FMC it appears but is transparent and ghost-like in appearance. This is especially annoying with the full forward panel displayed because you can see through it and ground objects are visible like taxi way lines and ground equipment. Is there something I can adjust to make this go away and restore the density of the 2D panels? Tom Helwick, Livingston, Montana

Go into FSX Settings, select Display (i think...maybe it's General?), and make sure that the 2-D panel transparency slider is all the way to the left.
