February 10, 201214 yr I actually have a pc that can run 9&10 but I can't get any scenery to take in the scenery library I'm not going to post this in FSX because the staff might get upset I'm not really sure if this in theright place . i HAVE BEEN DOING FS9 for about 7 years so I'm not a rookie you can add bgl files but as far as getting the lbrary to acknowledge it forget it.AND IF IT HAS A SELF EXE. it will work???? I'm banging my head ad I know it's not a mem issue I have 16gb's.

February 10, 201214 yr Author yes using win 7 64 bit and program x86 I installed FS9 THEN FSX and It's kinda wierd because I can put bgl's in but not whole set's like{ ie boston scenery& texture} i'm ALSO using saitek rudder pedals and a EVO STICK IN pro the d$%^$ THING IF I'M using one with a exe it goes right in also my A/C slide right in to FS9 BUT NOT FSX!! SOMEBODY GIVE ME A XANAX OR TWO!!!!
February 10, 201214 yr HelloThis is possible happening because you have installed into Program Files(x86) and also possibly have UAC enabledThere are special permissions set on this folder, you would be better installing FSX and FS9 outside of that directory.Also be aware that there is a bug with the FSX scenery library where i will not accept an entry unless you click in the white area of the dialog box after you have browsed to the scenery you are trying to add.Search in this forum for FSX scenery library and you will turn up multiple posts with this issue and how to get round it.
February 11, 201214 yr Author I hate to sound like a DUMBA$# but what is uac,And Itried to move but when I did I lost several crucial files and had to reinstall it LUCKALLY everything stayed in place,another wierd thing Ican add aircraft to FS9 BUT NOT TEN.IT'S PROPVING TO BE A REAL B$#$%#%.Even the ac go into fsx but the don't show!!
February 12, 201214 yr Author MADDOG; I tried moving them lost files ended up did a system restore,Thats what I hate about win7 xp was so much better!!!
