FSX on a laptop

Featured Replies

am looking to purchase a new laptop for college, I'm hoping to run FSX smoothly on it. My budget is anything up to about $800 so i'm not looking to run FSX at 40fps or anything. But if I could run at 20 fps while on the ground i'll be happy. I have narrowed it down to two different options but I'd be more than happy to accept any more suggestions. That one is the best choice.BUT, if you are willing to wait, I'd go for one of the Ivy Bridge laptops paired with a Kepler GPU onboard. This will run cooler and faster than current Sandybridge laptops.

Agreed. For a laptop I would most definitely wait for Ivy Bridge.
