February 12, 201214 yr Although I get good frames, when in external view ( including wing views) my plane seems to jump/ stutter over the ground instead of a nice smooth motion as when I look through the vc. My frames jump drastically too, 40 to 15 to 60 back to 14 ect. I tried disabling vsync as I read that might help, and no dice. And like I said, it's perfectly fine in VC view. Another thing is that sometimes my ground starts turning baby blue in big squares around me. And objects seem to get elongated and extend below the ground like long poles? Any help with any of this? I just got back into dimming after a 2 year break and have never experienced this before and my computer specs have stayed identical, minus new drivers for my graphics card, and an update to windows 7 64 bit. I have a i790 and nvidia 260 gtx. I use nspector for AA. Could it be a driver issue as I did not see this stuff 2 years ago? Thank youAdam
February 13, 201214 yr There are a couple of currently active threads - one on black(/blue) squares and the other on stuttering. Both worth reading.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/362345-good-system-good-framerate-but-bad-stutters/page__fromsearch__1http://forum.avsim.net/topic/362365-black-squares-on-ground-textures/page__fromsearch__1
