I need an upgrade, but what?

Hi,Well, I bought the GT520 about 5 months ago, and a month in, the fan stopped working...This didn't really mean much until yesterday, where I started smelling burnt plastic, and realized the fan melted! it still works fine, but I feel the need to get the card out of my system before worse things happen...So, I've started looking for a replacement card...I would like a little better performance, and a sufficient cooling system. However, I feel my other specs won't work with much...I have a stock Dell case, with only a little amount of spare room with the 520 inserted, as well as a 300 watt PSU.Any Help?

Your CPU is going to limit your FSX performance. And because it's a Dell you are not going to be able to OC. Save some $$ and start over building your computer yourself or locally.

Hi Jim,I know that my CPU is awful, and I'm planning a full build in summer. Most likely IB core, maybe 560 card, etc...right now I'm just looking for an interim card, that can outperform the 520 by a tiny bit, and no other replacement parts, yet.

Honestly not sure what your power supply can handle for an interim card.

That PSU maybe edgy for a 520. The VC fan MUST work. GPU's get smokin hot.
