ASE: Question to Wake Effect's

Recommended Posts

Hi @ allSometimes I have a problem, 0,5 nm on final before I want to land, I have a very very strong left or right deflection of the aircraft. I'ts not possible to take the control of the aircraft back and a crash is unavoidable.Whenever this happens, I notice an entry in ASE ilke this:"Wake effect activated... Strengh Factor: 2"What does this message mean?Does it mena the "Wake turbulence Strength" in the Cloud Options?

Yes - I recommend that you turn it to the lowest setting if you don't want to get swatted out of the air from time to time. IMHO it's grossly exaggerated.DJ
