February 23, 201214 yr Hi all,I have been using tileproxy for many years now with Yahoo and other maps as the source but have recently (last 6 months) found a mapping site for Australia www.nearmap.com and the tiles are incredibly detailed and the company is happy for us to use them... BUT... as of a couple of weeks it stopped working... I think it was me but can't see what I have done wrong.I have spoken with the people from nearmap.com and they have not changed nothing on their end so I gather it’s my configuration. They are trying to assist but without having FSX and tileproxy installed on their end its going to be a big ask for them to come up with the answers. They support the google map command and since I have about 1gig of their (nearmap) tiles on my machine is DID work! I didn't notice as I fly regular in the same area and of course the files/tiles were coming from my cache.I'm hoping someone can help me. The configuration for proxyuser.ini is below and I believe has been working since I posted it on the nearmap.com forum[NEARMAP]cache_folder=F:Tileproxy.Cache.Filesnearmapnetwork_module=libnettilemodule_config="server=http://web*.nearmap.com|path=/kh?t=t%s&n=404&v=19|quad=qrts|balance=0123|useragent=Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; # MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)"min_level=5max_level=19color_hack=Yescolor_level=12bulk_extend=70Can anyone help me??? PLEASE PLEASE before I pull the rest of my hair out and my wife divorces me ! :-) :( I've being trying for nearly 2 weeks solid now and I have JUST about given up...I have a dedicated flightsim PC, i7, 8G, nvidia gtx580 with 2 x Sony 60" monitors and a full Saitek cockpit setup.I have reinstalled by system and software 3 times (last being today) and even dumb the system down to only 32bit win7I hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks allBradPS... For regular Australian Flyers nearmap update their images almost every month in the major Capitals your images are current and I can even see myself standing in my backyard when they last photographed my area... so dam clear!!! February 29, 201214 yr Hi, I'm fairly sure the nearmap.com WMS tile feeds now require a login/password, they have since earlier this year. You may not have noticed if your cache was silently serving up old tiles. The redirect message in the log is probably going to their https:// server which now asks for a login. You can register for a free "personal use license" at http://www.nearmap.com/.I have no idea if you can use that in TileProxy however.Good Luck Edited February 29, 201214 yr by alfski

Trying to find out if its the free account that you can get from the site or its a commerical account, will keep you informed... The next problem is I don't know how to pass the userid and password via proxyuser.ini .... any ideas welcome... Bummer... The best hypertiles I've seen from any site... dam shame if I can get it to work again... Yahoo and Virtual earth just don't hack the pace anymore... images are so old and fuzzy compared to nearmap....
March 24, 201412 yr Author Don't bother using nearmap.com anymore... Once they used up all the people that tested their site for them they locked us out and want to charge $$$$ thousands to access it. Doesn't pay to me nice to online companies... so they can stick it.!!!! Lets find another! Brad
