Need airport advice (Italy)
Asking AI is definitely the way to go. It's like telling a poorly-paid intern to go trawling the web so that we do the more important stuff, like virtual flying. They come back very quickly with a summary of all the views out there, so that we can weigh them with our superior judgement, and make a decision.

Need airport advice (Italy)
When I've been wanting to make this sort of choice recently, I've taken to getting an AI response via Google. Not that it has a superhuman gift of judgement, but it does trawl all the corners of the internet for all opinions, saving a huge amount of effort, and comes back with a reasonable summary for me to make up my own mind. FWIW: The best payware scenery for LICJ Palermo in MSFS is generally considered to be the JetStream Designs Palermo (part of their Italian Airports Bundle) or the AmSim LICJ Palermo available on Orbx, which are both highly detailed. The JetStream version is often favored for its comprehensive, high-quality terminal modeling and accurate environment. Top Choice (Payware): JetStream Designs LICJ offers excellent performance and accurate modeling of the airport, including the new east apron. Alternative (Payware): AmSim LICJ is a strong competitor for Orbx users, noted for detailed ground textures. Free Enhancements: Users can find free enhancements like the SavageSceneries LICJ that add static FSLTL aircraft for better realism. JetStream's offering is often praised for its high-quality rendering, although some users find the Asobo world update version or AmSim's version to be suitable alternatives depending on specific preferences.

What is Wrong with The Cockpit View for my Fenix A321?
Like he said, the zoom level needs adjusting, to be appropriate for your screen position and dimensions. Easy enough to fix with ChasePlane, otherwise use Developer Mode and some settings there.

The Maccosim was good in its day, but hasn't been updated for ages, and the Inibuilds is more up to date with the extensions to Terminal 2.

Do you have photogrammetry enabled or disabled in MSFS 2024?
Why should he? isn't it obvious? Don't the responses show that people are interested in what others do, and why?

Snapflight is released
What would be really good - although this utility doesn't seem to do it - would be a quick and easy way to select the aircraft and its livery. The 2020 method is fine, but the 2024 one is a real PITA.

Walkaround query.
...not to mention switching on the Pitot Heat, to make sure it's actually heating up. (Sorry for the tangent, just adding my personal checklist.)

Airbus or Boeing ?
Two or three years ago, I would have agreed. But the downside of being blessed with these new ranges of inexpensive cockpit hardware, is that they tend to force us in one direction or the other. I have a sidestick, an Alpha yoke and Bravo throttle (the latter with interchangeable throttle sets), so in theory I can fly Airbus, Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, ATR, or whatever, but I also have Airbus FCU + EFIS and MCDU devices which means that Airbus is always the easiest or laziest option.
