  1. If facing a wall, put the woofer box of your sound system against the wall and then have the pedals up against the woofer box.
  2. Indeed yes. It was Parallel 42's Flow. Once removed, everything worked. Many thanks.
  3. In MSFS 2D, the icon is outlined in white (not red), and my Streamdeck and Xtouch are working fine with RPN scripts. However they do not work in VR. Could I be missing something?
  4. It makes complete sense. The Quality Wings 787 set a standard for a 787 in P3D. People using MSFS will be very interested to know whether this 787 achieves the same standard, or if not, what is missing. If it is equivalent, then the fact that it's default (albeit Premium) will be a bit of a bonus.
  5. "Quality of Life Pause at T/D"? I know what a pause at TOD is, and it can be quite useful, but is it really going to affect my quality of life?
  6. Can anyone recommend a good YouTube or series to help me get to grips with this aircraft? There's no manual and there are quite a few YouTubes, but they can be quite long and can show people just stumbling around and applying trial and error. I can stumble around without a manual quite easily by myself. What I'm hoping for is the person(s) who has/have absolutely cracked it and can go through a cold and dark procedure efficiently without any of this 'Oh, that didn't work' business. TIA.
  7. I was also using (or trying to) LINDA - which I used extensively and successfully with P3D. I ended up with AxisandOhs and the XTouch-mini.
  8. I've tried it with my Gen 1, and sadly it does not work.
  9. Yes I do. But PSXT is looking for something on another drive for some reason.
  10. I've just downloaded and installed this latest version. When I run it, it displays a message about a missing 'Project' file on another drive that I don't currently use, and then aborts.
  11. I had this problem. Then I used the Toolbar Pushback button to unlock the brakes. Then, later, the problem just went away.
  12. This afternoon, downloaded fine and installed OK. Looks like something, somewhere, different.
  13. That's what I would normally do with a trusted (by me) site/provider. However, the OS is not giving me the option this time - I can't get anywhere near the file.
  14. Quite possibly not, I just gave the version number for the sake of completeness. All I know for sure is that the OS refuses to make the .zip accessible to me.
  15. No doubt my technical ignorance, but Windows 10 is not even downloading the .zip - there's no physical 'thing' that I can actually get hold of and examine.
  16. Windows security is suddenly reporting a virus threat from this latest version; I've never had this before with previous versions. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml
  17. Not for me. Reminds me of a seventeenth-century plague doctor with a long-nosed mask, and wings that look like a cloak streaming out behind. Dr Death. Each to their own.
  18. Just to clarify, my mistake, I should have said LGTS (Thessalonica) not LTGS, not that that is relevant in this context. The 49 updates had come from an earlier Learner session - I didn't note how many from PSXT in learner mode while I was flying. The odd thing is that there are no entries for those planes in the LGTS.xml, just parking positions. Although I misquoted the ICAO code earlier, I'm sure I had a valid learner session - I always look for the Airport name to appear in Real Traffic and the code in Learner.. But maybe I screwed up somehow.
  19. Especially 'momentarily', meaning 'for a moment', when 'in a moment' is really intended. 'We will be taking off momentarily' always reminds me of the Wright Brothers' first flight, or my flights when VR is too soon.
  20. Thanks. Sounds like what we used to call, when I worked in IT many years ago, 'Usability'. In fact we had 'Usability Laboratories' to work out how to improve the user experience. I suppose 'Usability' was itself a jargon word. But at least we didn't stand around talking about 'quality of life', sounding like doctors deciding whether to switch off someone's life support.
  21. 'Speedbird 321, reach out to London Approach on 123.75'
