Your Ultimate MSFS Companion

The easiest and fastest way to launch flights in MSFS

Snapflight is designed to enhance your flight experience in MSFS2020 and MSFS2024.

What would be really good - although this utility doesn't seem to do it - would be a quick and easy way to select the aircraft and its livery. The 2020 method is fine, but the 2024 one is a real PITA.

From the video, I'm just not seeing the best of what this can probably do.  I can't understand why you're showing the key feature with the sim in an accelerated sim rate mode?   You keep 'snapping' but because the sim is in a high sim rate, we can't see how the aircraft behaves (in detail) after a snap.

I was also left wondering why you kept pressing 'Resnap' so many times.  Surely you'd set up the parameters, snap, and then fly....  What was with the constant re-snapping?  Was the camera position changing randomly after each snap?

My concern is that you had the sim in an acclelerated sim rate, because after a snap at the standard sim rate, perhaps it doesn't load smoothly or the systems take a while to get into the right state.

As an almost inconsequential aside, the UI looks like it's from 1998 and the AI voice in the video from 1988.

Is this freeware or payware?

I know I'm coming across harshly but my ultimate point is that - if this is a good product - such a poor video is not showcasing well at all.

You will find the same features in FSTARTER24. FSTARTER24 has  more features. Snapflight has a simpler and more user friendly UI than FSTARTER24 and focus more on Airport Traffic Pattern and approach training. Snapflight v1.1 that is in development now will have Flyby and Tower views based on the new Camera APIs that came with MSFS2024 SU5.

All Snapflight v1.0 customers will get all v1.x updates for free.
