FSX + REX Water resolution?

Featured Replies

I seem to have lost awareness of how FSX Water with REX should look like when really used. I used REX water combined with custom settings in FS Water configurator (without installing their shader of course), mainly to get rid of the milky water at night and to adjust the cloud and terrain reflection a bit. I left the sun at defaut 100 %Now I have tried bojotes shader 3.0 mod and noticed waves are not moving, so I uninstalled it again.Since this time, it appears to me the Water has changed somehow. Although I installed a default Waterconstants.xml and ShaderHLSL folder, installing the REX and FS Water Config over it, it still seems like the water shader is more low res then before and, not visible in the pic, it is more obvious that it consists of 2 layers moving over each other. It looks kind of strange. here is a pic using the "continuuos" theme from REX overdrive, although what i mean is not that obviously seen in there:http://img4web.com/view/77V72DI dont know for sure, but as far as I remember, my water was at a higher resolution and less pixel-and-technical-looking before, closer to what REX has in their gallery here, for example on pic 22/87:http://realenvironme...r/customer.html

Is this what you want?5252.pngIf so, that is REX Sparkling water texture with the lowest available REX resolution setting (helps mask any possible pattern recognition). I also modified it a bit with FSWC, and have my water set back a single notch in FSX.Kind regards,
